Weddings
We have an exquisite Tudor Suite which can be reserved for wedding functions. Our Tudor Suite is a luxurious setting worthy of any wedding celebrations. Here, there is many a memorable dance to be had!
Our Hotel staff will attend to any requirements that you have and for the whole of the event will be at your beck and call. The Suite comfortably accommodates 150 people for the meal and a further 60 people for a dance in the evening.
We will also let you, on request view our facilities and we would be more than happy to show our prospective customers around. When booking The Tudor Suite, a deposit of £500 is required to secure the date. This deposit is not refundable or transferable. Another £500 payment is then due 6 months prior to the wedding date. Your booking shall be kept on file for fourteen days but if the deposit is not paid by the customer, the booking shall be automatically released. This is only if an extension of the date has not been negotiated. An appointment should be arranged 28 days prior to the function with one of our Banqueting Co-ordinator. At this meeting an estimated account shall be issued. This cost will be due to be paid 14 bank working days before the function. If this payment is not fulfilled, the Hotel has the right to cancel any function.
The Tudor Suite requires a minimum of 80 adults dining where suite will be free of charge, otherwise a charge of £200 will be applied.
The Oakroom is a slightly smaller function suite. The Oakroom requires a minimum of 60 adults dining where the suite will be free of charge, otherwise a charge of £150.00 will be applied. In total this suite can accommodate a total of 80 guests.
A 10% discount will be given off Menu prices for Weddings from Sunday to Thursday when the minimum number is 80 adults dining.
In all prices V.A.T. is inclusive. Any Government changes may involve a price review. The price will be held for one year from the date that you book, unless any increase is imposed by Government taxes. Our cancellation policy for Tudor Suite bookings is as follows:
- Within 8 weeks – 50% of the estimated account.
- Within 2 weeks – 75% of the estimated account.
- Within 1 week –100% of the estimated account.
The Tudor Hotel can arrange flowers to be delivered to The Tudor Suite to further brighten up your celebration.

- Top Table £25.00

Toasts are payable on the evening of your function. Deposit originally paid will be deducted from bar bill. No service charge is required. Gratuities are at your own discretion. Usually customers leave 10% for staff as a tip.
To avoid chaos at your wedding reception, it is best to make a seating plan. We are more than happy to help you with this. If we are to help you we require having a list and place cards given to us at least 7 days before the Reception. The Tudor Hotel shall be obliged to help you to plan the seating for your function.
